Hi, I’m Cris — the photographer and person behind Cristiane Dugan Photography.
I’m originally from Brazil, but Massachusetts is now home. I’m married, a very proud dog mom to Boomer, and when I’m not photographing weddings or sitting at my computer editing, I’m usually spending time with my family, planning my next trip, or probably giving Boomer way too much attention.
Photography wasn’t always the career I imagined for myself. It started as something I loved and slowly became something I couldn’t imagine not doing.
I originally began my photography journey by building a business alongside a close friend. That chapter taught me so much—about photography, weddings, running a business, and, most importantly, the kind of experience I wanted to give my couples.
Eventually, life took me in a different direction, and I decided to start again on my own.
And that’s how Cristiane Dugan Photography began.
Starting over was a little scary, but it also gave me the chance to create something that feels completely like me. I wanted my business to be personal. I wanted to actually know the people I photograph, help them through the process, laugh with them, and make being in front of the camera feel a whole lot less intimidating.
My photography has grown with me, too. Today, I’m drawn to the real moments with a little editorial touch—the beautiful portraits, of course, but also the messy, funny, emotional, completely unplanned moments that make a wedding yours.
At the end of the day, I’m not trying to create a gallery that looks like everyone else’s.
I want to create photographs that look like you and bring you right back to how it all felt.
This business is still a growing chapter of my life, and I’m really happy you’re here to be part of it.
