Nick & Robert | A Love Story at Saphire Estate

Some love stories have a way of bringing you right back to where everything began. For Nick and Robert, that place is Krasi in Boston.

From Tinder to Their First Date

Nick and Robert first met on Tinder in August 2020, just before Nick moved to Boston. Robert came up to visit that fall, but at the time, they decided they were better off as friends.

A few months later, that changed.

After a breakup in April 2021, Robert asked Nick on a date. Their first official date happened that June at Krasi, just off Newbury Street in Boston, and on July 3, 2021, they officially started dating.

Krasi quickly became a meaningful part of their relationship. They returned every year for their anniversary, turning that first-date spot into one of their favorite traditions.

A Full-Circle Proposal

Four years later, on July 3, 2025, Nick brought Robert back to the place where their relationship had started.

With a little help from the manager and host at Krasi, Nick planned the proposal at the same restaurant where they’d shared their first date four years earlier.

And apparently, they aren’t done making memories there just yet. Nick and Robert are also planning to host a wedding celebration dinner at Krasi in November.

The Little Things They Love

Nick and Robert have been together for just over four years, and their life together is filled with the things they love most: watching TV and movies, following Formula 1, building Legos, spending time with their friends, and hanging out with their two cats, Eddie and Ollie—who, according to them, are perfect.

They’ve also created traditions around some of their favorite places. Harry’s Bar in Allston is another special spot, and every Memorial Day weekend, they make their way to New York City together.

Their Saphire Estate Wedding

On May 3, 2026, Nick and Robert officially began their next chapter with their wedding at Saphire Estate in Sharon, Massachusetts.

Surrounded by the people closest to them, their day felt personal, joyful, and completely their own.

What made their wedding especially meaningful to photograph wasn’t just the beautiful setting or all of the carefully planned details. It was seeing the history behind the day—the friendships, traditions, favorite places, and everyday moments that brought them here.

From matching on Tinder in 2020, to deciding to be friends, to that first date at Krasi, four years of anniversaries, a proposal where it all began, and finally saying “I do” at Saphire Estate.

A pretty perfect full-circle love story.

Congratulations, Nick & Robert. 🤍
